We meet in the main office of Centro Cultural Mexicano, not their Mi Casa space where we used to meet (our current location is on the corner of Leary Way and Redmond Way)
RASP was founded in 1997 to promote literary arts and activities in Redmond, Washington, and the surrounding area
Our regular events are free and open to the public and do not require registration
Monthly reading celebrating written and spoken arts, featuring a special guest (such as a poet, novelist, memorist, children’s book author, lyricist, stand-up comic, or storyteller) plus an open-mic reading for poetry, fiction, and nonfiction (tends to be mostly poetry)
RASP also offers Poetry and Prose Circle, a free monthly critique group on Zoom for any kind of writing on the second Tuesday of each month, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.—share your writing and receive feedback (for the Zoom link, visit the website and look for Poetry and Prose Circle)
